Funeral services for Raymond Roy Daniel, 84, of The Woodlands were held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel will Dr. James E. Daniel and Rev. Earl Holman officiating. Interment will follow in Willis Cemetery in the Daniel plot. Visitation was Monday, January 29, 2007 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

Mr. Daniel was born August 3, 1922 in Conroe, Texas and passed away January 27, 2007 in The Woodlands. He graduated from Conroe High School in 1939 and served five years in the United States Army Air Corps in WWII. His overseas duty was in North Africa and Italy. Mr. Daniel owned and operated Daniel Office Products in The Woodlands for twenty-five years before his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of The Woodlands.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Joie and Ira L Daniel, sister, Dorothy Daniel Shelton, brothers, George M. Daniel and Gerald V. Daniel. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Winona Daniel of The Woodlands, Sons Robert N. Daniel and wife Kathy, of Conroe, and
Dr. James E. Daniel and wife Carla of Cypress, Texas, three grandchildren, Leslie Daniel of Conroe, Mark Daniel and Rebekah Daniel of Cypress Texas, brothers; A. L. Daniel and wife Johnnie of Tyler and Edward L. Daniel and wife Betty of Conroe, Texas.

Pallbearers were Woodrow Norvell, Kenneth Norvell, Gerald R. (Buddy) Daniel, Ira J. Shelton, Darrell Shelley, Charles Rodgers, and Kenneth W. Norvell. Honorary pallbearers are members of the King’s Men Class of FBC of The Woodlands.
